Google and Kaggle launched their first 5-Day AI Agents Intensive Course last November — and over 1.5 million people showed up. By popular demand, it's back for 2026 with updated content, new speakers, and a brand-new hands-on capstone project. The best part? It's completely free.
Course Details
Dates: June 15–19, 2026
Format: Online — self-paced daily assignments + live sessions
Cost: Free (Kaggle account + Google AI Studio required)
Time commitment: ~1–2 hours per day
Hosted by: Google researchers and engineers, via Kaggle
What You'll Learn
This course goes beyond chatbots. You'll build autonomous AI agents from foundational concepts all the way to production-ready systems — with a focus on vibe coding, where natural language becomes the primary programming interface.
Day 1 — Intro to Agents & Vibe Coding. Move from AI chatbots to autonomous agents. Learn vibe coding workflows where natural language drives the development process.
Day 2 — Agent Tools & Interoperability. Expand agent capabilities by integrating external APIs, code execution, and agent-to-agent communication.
Day 3 — Context Engineering: Sessions, Skills & Memory. Build personalized agents with long-term memory and state. Master strategies for long context and optimal token use.
Day 4 — Agent Quality & Security. Implement testing, guardrails, and quality evaluations. Secure agents against emerging threat vectors.
Day 5 — Prototype to Production. Graduate your local agents into governed, scalable, observable production systems. Master cloud deployment, debugging, and observability.
How It Works
Each day you'll receive:
- Daily assignments — whitepapers, a companion podcast, and hands-on codelabs you can complete at your own pace.
- Live YouTube streams — Google authors and contributors go deep on each topic and answer questions live.
- Discord community — a dedicated channel with fellow learners and Google experts.
- Recordings — all livestreams are recorded for registrants who can't make it live.
Capstone Project
Put your new skills to work in Kaggriculture — a farming simulation where you design, build, and deploy an autonomous AI agent to manage resources and outperform other agents on a leaderboard. Submissions are due June 28, 2026.
Top participants earn Kaggle certificates, badges, and swag, plus recognition on Kaggle and Google's social channels.
Who This Course Is For
This course is designed for anyone interested in building and understanding AI agents. Some Python experience is helpful, as are basic AI concepts and familiarity with Google AI Studio. If you're brand new to AI, Google recommends starting with the original 5-Day AI Agent Intensive Course first.
Why I'm Recommending This
I'm signed up for this course because vibe coding and agentic workflows are changing how marketers, entrepreneurs, and business owners can use AI — not just for content, but for building systems that actually do work on your behalf. You don't need to be a developer to benefit from understanding how these tools work.
If you're curious about where AI is headed and want to learn directly from the people building it, this is a rare opportunity to do that for free.
